In-Person SF₆ Safety & Handling Training

Gain the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to safely and responsibly handle SF₆ gas in real-world applications. This intensive two-day training course combines classroom instruction with practical equipment demonstrations to help technicians, operators, and maintenance personnel improve SF₆ gas handling practices, reduce emissions, and stay current with safety and regulatory requirements.

Training may be conducted at a DILO facility or onsite at your own location for your team. Throughout the course, participants will explore SF₆ gas fundamentals, contamination and gas quality considerations, emissions reduction strategies, safety procedures, transportation requirements, and environmental regulations.

Hands-on demonstrations using DILO equipment provide practical insight into proper recovery, filling, evacuation, and gas handling techniques used in the field.

To successfully complete the course, trainees must:

  • Attend each day of the course in its entirety
  • Actively engage and participate in training activities
